Bath and Alkmaar have historic links going back over seven decades. How can these links be used to further economic and commercial developments in both cities – especially post-Brexit?

The Bath-Alkmaar Twinning Association is the official body responsible for maintaining and promoting Bath's formal links with its twin city in the Netherlands. Run entirely by volunteers, we work with Bath's Mayor and local councillors to encourage exchanges, visits and other links between both cities. We also work to preserve the story of how we came to be linked: an important tale from Bath and Britain's 20th century history.
